VOLUNTEERS WANTED

Help us help you, your family, neighbors and friends.  Become a volunteer firefighter with the Rough and Ready Fire Protection District.  While the Rough and Ready Fire Department maintains an around-the-clock staff of paid, professional firefights, Volunteers are the backbone of our emergency response system and we reward them with training and equipment needed.  To retain one's volunteer status we ask our volunteers to: Attend weekly training sessions; respond to 25% of calls, help with fundraisers and attend extra trainings if scheduled, including E.M.T. trainings, Wildland Firefighter trainings, and Class B Driver trainings.  Stop by the station and apply if you are interested.

It's a commitment, but one that will allow you to give back to your community, gain responsibility and make new friends!
